Min. Markus S. McCoy was born in Logan, West Virginia, and is currently a resident of Huntington, WV. He is the son of Katherine McCoy and the oldest of three children. It was ordained before the foundation of the world that Markus be born to spread the glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ. Markus is a 1998 graduate of Logan High School.In the early stages of his life, Min. McCoy began attending the Original Glorious Church of God In Christ of the Apostolic Faith, under the pastorate of Evangelist Rocine Jackson. He faithfully attended the church with his grandmother, Mother Willie C. McCoy, until the age of three when his parents moved to Landover, MD. After moving on to Columbus, OH, Markus began attending the ETB Church of the Apostolic Faith, under the pastorate of Bishop H.C Clark. He attended the church regularly until it was deemed necessary to relocate back to Logan, WV to help care for his grandmother.

  Markus was baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and filled with the Holy Ghost and began living a holy life before the Lord. He began to learn how to live as a Saint of the Most High God. Min. McCoy then began serving faithfully in various activities in the church such as a member of the Zion Gospelaires, Usher Board, Sunday School Secretary, YPWW Asst. Secretary, Nurse’s Guild, Percussionist, Substitute Sunday School Teacher, Devotional Leader, Church Decorator, and whatever capacity he was needed in. On July 17, 1994, Markus received and answered the call from Lord to preach the Word of God. At that time it was confirmed that God had a great calling upon his life.
